Our Sun Awnings

Here at Sun Awnings Direct we believe in keeping things simple. This is why we have chosen to supply only two main Sun Awning types.

The Budget Awning

The Phoenix is our budget awning. It does not have a cassette as such, more a cover. This means that when the awning is closed the fabric and arms are still visible.

You can choose either manual operation (via a hand crank) or electric operation.

Do not be fooled by it's price - the Phoenix is still manufactured from high grade aluminium, stainless steel fixings and high quality fabric.

The Luxury Awning

The Carino is our luxury model. You really will struggle to find a more attractive compact awning. This is a fully cassetted awning which means that, once retracted, you will see no arms or fabric.

This is an electrically operated Awning and as such, there is no manual crank option.

This awning is made from only the highest quality components and is ideal for those looking for a sleek, stylish and practical investment for their homes.

Our Motors

We do not use Chinese motors in our Sun Awnings. We choose to use German "Becker" motors as they have been a world renowned motor for many many years. As well as this they are recognised as being one of the quietest motors on the market.

Becker manufacture a complete range of compatible products including remote controls, sun and wind sensors that compliment your Sun Awning.

Our Fabric

The fabric is one of the most important parts of your Sun Awning. Not only is it important that it remains rot and mildew free, it is vital that it offers you maximum protection from the damaging rays of the sun.

Swela are a German company and they are known for their excellence across Europe and beyond. They have 50 years of experience in creating fabrics that offer excellent protection form the sun whilst remaining looking new for many years.
